DAY THIRTEEN
SAN JOSE, CA - SAN FRANCISCO, CA
Today, we woke up around 10am, and Lily made us pancakes! We piled into the van for a day trip to San Francisco. Along the way, while looking for things to entertain us, I let Riley take pictures with my camera, which allowed for some very interesting shots!
Once we arrived in San Francisco, our first stop was the Golden Gate Park, which was beautiful. There is so much to do there, carousel rides, playgrounds, a waterfall, a botanic garden, an art museum, and much more!
It was really cold here, and we realized the 60 degree temperatures were about half of what it was like is Las Vegas. We rode the carousel and ate some hot dogs, and then left to go look at the Golden Gate Bridge. We stopped at Fort Point, a really cool place to view the bridge.
We took some pictures, and ran around the park for a bit. From there we stopped by the Full House house, which was so awesome to see in person.
Then we drove up a suuuuper steep hill to get to Lombard Street, which was surrounded by traffic, but we were eventually able to drive down the "crookedest street in America."
We then drove over to Chinatown and had dinner and walked around, and then decided to head back home!
Once home, Stephanie came over and was so nice to bring desserts from Hello Desserts! These were delicious, and it was so nice for everyone to sing Happy Birthday! I had a really great day!
